The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Monday at 6 p.m. through 6 p.m. Tuesday. Rice Emergency Management is preparing the campus and continues to monitor what this may mean for Houston and the surrounding areas.

This is a good time for employees and students who live off campus to begin preparing for winter weather at home – stocking up on food, water, prescriptions, backup batteries and other essentials. If you have not already signed up for emergency notifications, please update your information to receive RICE ALERT messages.
