Sept. 22 10:30 am Tropical Depression Beta Update

The National Weather Service- Houston/Galveston has downgraded Beta to a Tropical Depression, however we remain under a flash flood warning through Wednesday. There will likely be additional intermittent rain in significant and heavy bands throughout the remainder of the day. Localized flooding may occur on campus and throughout the area as the storm bands pass through. The campus roadways are passable currently but we urge the campus community to carefully evaluate the need to get onto roadways until the storm passes. Do not drive through standing water and where possible, move your vehicle to higher ground. Check Houston Transtar for road closures.
