Dear students,

Here is an update on key Rice campus services available today, Friday, Sept. 20:

Student Health Services: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for sick visits only. Students should call 713-348-4966 for an appointment. Health Services strongly advises students staying out of flood water due to contamination and fire ant risk.

Library hours: noon-8 p.m. Open to Rice students, faculty and staff only (closed to the public). Students should enter using the west entrance, near Brochstein Pavilion.

The Rec Center is operating normal hours. The pool and facilities are open (administration is closed).

The serveries are all operational. Flo Paris at Brochstein Pavillion is open and will have normal business hours.

Alice Pratt Brown Hall practice and teaching studios will be open normal hours today. The Shepherd School Guest Master Class in Duncan Recital Hall will proceed as scheduled.

The Moody Center for the Arts' fall exhibition opening will proceed this evening as scheduled (6-8 p.m.)

The following services are not available today:

Wellbeing, Counseling and SAFE are all closed today. If a student should need immediate assistance, they can call 713-348-3311.
