Houston, TX  (Feb. 22, 2024) - Some of the nation's largest wireless carriers are experiencing outages or disruptions to their services today, Thursday, Feb. 22. Restoration is not known at this time. This outage is affecting some users in the Houston are and across the state of Texas.

Mobile carriers are reporting that - during this outage - devices are going into "SOS Mode," which will still allow emergency calls to 911.

Carriers are advising customers with no service to enable "Wi-Fi Calls" on their device as a temporary workaround.
