The boil water notice for campus required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has now been lifted. This follows the results of water quality tests conducted at Rice, all of which came back negative.

With the notice lifted, members of the campus community no longer need to use bottled water or boil their water for drinking, cooking or other consumption needs.
