Rice University has canceled all classes and campus events for the remainder of the day. The city of Houston is under a flash flood watch until 4:30 pm.
We strongly recommend that students, faculty and staff continue to shelter in place until the flood watch has lifted. If you must leave, for your safety please map your route through HOUSTON TRANSTAR. Use your best judgment to avoid flood conditions.
