Rice Emergency Management seeks to be the global standard in resilience, investing in our infrastructure and, most importantly, our people so that every community we're in is better for us being there.
We use an all-hazards, whole-community approach to emergency management to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from any emergencies.
The university response is led by the Emergency Management department, but is executed by the Incident Management Team and essential employees.
Even in mitigation, planning, training, and exercising, Emergency Management relies on our partners for collaboration, support, and accountability.
